种麯在医疗配方上是佔有相当地位。由于药品功效广闊,一年四季均可适用,特別在夏秋季节更为要葯;因此在历代著名医書上都有詳細記載与介紹。故相沿至今仍保持着中外馳名。神麯在全国各地区虽有生产,但原始产地却在福建。故有建神麯之称。福建也有三四处生产,唯以泉州市吳老范志神麯加工厂,創設于1741年,历史最久。由于配方制作方法都与众不同,故功效最佳,中外馳名。为了技术交流,确保人民身体健康,現把原配方及加工方法介紹如下:
