The Gas-jet Tape Transport System (GTTS) was used in several on-line experiments. The transport efficiency of GTTS was studied with three different inorganic salts, PbI2, PbCl2 and NaCl, by using a 252Cf source. The fission fragments of 252Cf were transported and collected by the GTTS before measurement.
