一、前言人文精神的核心是重视人,尊重人的权利、人的思想自由和自我选择。所以阅读教学要着眼学生的人性、人格发展,基本素养的提高和可持续发展能力的培养。在英语阅读教学中培育学生的人文精神,教师应该从选材入手,凭借现代化教学理论及教学手段,建构合理的教学模式,开启学生的精神智能,以达到既学好语言又培育学生的人文精神之目的。
I. Foreword The core of humane spirit is to value people, respect human rights, human freedom of thought and self-selection. Therefore, reading teaching should focus on students’ human nature, personality development, improvement of basic quality and ability of sustainable development. To cultivate the humanistic spirit of students in English reading teaching, teachers should start with the selection of materials, build up a reasonable teaching mode by means of modern teaching theory and teaching methods, open the students’ mental intelligence so as to achieve the purpose of both learning the language and cultivating the humanistic spirit of the students .
