自主学习是指学生个体在学习过程中一种主动而积极自觉的学习行为,表现为学生在教育活动过程中强烈的求知欲、主动参与的精神与积极思考的行为。能够激发学生强烈的学习需要与兴趣,能够使学生获得积极的、深层次的体验,能给学生足够的自主空间、足够的活动机会。在自主学习状态下,学习的目的不是为了考试和分数,不是为了应付家长和老师,而是为了获取知识和技能。学生自主学习并不等于自学,最根本的特征体现在整个教学过程中,通过教师采用多种手段激发学生自觉、主动地学习,改变原有被动、接受式的学习方式,从而使学生从真正意义上走出不想学的困境,自觉养成我要学的习惯。
