统计学因其处于自然科学与人文科学之间的交叉点上 ,文化因素在其中的作用自然应该有其特殊性 ,既不如在人文学科中那般激烈 ,也不象在自然科学中那样轻柔。对其作用的忽视 ,势必形成统计学研究的误区。中国文化对统计学的影响是通过亚科学文化而发生的 ,其直接的结果是统计学方法的功效下降。
Because of its position at the intersection of the natural science and the humanities, statistics should naturally have its own particularity, neither as fierce as it is in the humanities nor as gentle in the natural sciences. The neglect of its role is bound to form a misunderstanding of statistical research. The impact of Chinese culture on statistics occurs through sub-scientific culture, and the direct result of this is the diminished effectiveness of statistical methods.
