美国疾病控制协会日前把2000年度“健康计划与疾病控制领袖奖”授予美国信诺保险集团医疗健康公司实施的“关心健康”计划,表彰他们在提高美国慢性病医疗质量领域所取得的成就。 这项被誉为“第一个包含疾病控制在内的全国性计划”,包括为哮喘、下背疼痛以及糖尿病进行治疗管理与控制。凡居住在美国各个社区、参与不同医疗保险制度的患者都能参加这一计划。从2001年开始,公司将把对心脏病的控制与管理纳入到该计划之中。
The American Association for Disease Control recently awarded the “Health Plan and Disease Control Leadership Award 2000” to the “Care for Health” program implemented by the CIGNA Health Care Company in recognition of their achievements in improving the quality of care for chronic diseases in the United States. Known as “the first nationwide program to include disease control,” this includes the management and control of therapies for asthma, lower back pain, and diabetes. All patients who live in various communities in the United States and participate in different health insurance schemes can participate in this program. Since 2001, the company will include the control and management of heart disease into the program.
