According to the newly published Year—book of China Nonferrous Metals Industry(2000 edition),some major metals outputstatistics in 1999 have been adjusted aftercoordinaton with the State Statistics Bureauand the provincial government departments.These adjustments include the copper out-put from the original SNMIA (the StateNonferrous Metals Industry Administration)statistics of 1.045 million tons to 1.174 mil-lion tons in the Yearbook.The aluminium output is adjusted from theOriainal SNMIA figure of 2.618 million tonsto 2.808 million tons of fhe Yearbook,while lead is adjusted from 895.095 tonsto 918.396 tons.Zinc is adjusted from 1.695 million tons to 1.703 tons with mag-
