初中学生现代文阅读能力究竟应包括哪些,语文界的意见不尽一致。但从平实观点出发,我认为最基本的仍是扎扎实实读懂原文,总体把握作品实质。亦即首先老老实实理解文章的字、词、句的意思,进而将全篇了然于心。这个“篇”应包括立意、选材、谋篇布局、表现手法等等带全局性的东西。只有最后做到这种总体吸收,方能回头领会局部精妙。基于这种认识,我们对市、县重点中学、农村中学初二年级四个班的四十名成绩好的学生(男女各半)进行了现代文阅读能力的测试(试题附后)。现将测试的基本数据列表于后。
What should the junior high school students read in their modern reading skills? The opinions of the Chinese language community are not consistent. However, from the point of view of plainness, I think the most basic thing is to read the original text in a down-to-earth manner and grasp the essence of the work as a whole. That is to say, first of all, honestly understand the meaning of the words, words, and sentences of the articles, and then fully understand them. This “paper” should include everything from conception, material selection, layout, expression techniques, and so on. Only by doing this kind of overall absorption in the end can we be able to grasp the local subtleties. Based on this understanding, we conducted a test of modern reading ability among 40 well-achievered students in the four classes of city and county key middle schools and rural middle school and second-grade secondary schools (appendices are attached). The basic data of the test is now listed.
