There are three rivers in the northwestern part of Yunnan Province that run in parallel and are in a “broom-like” distribution. They are the Jinsha River, the Lancang River and the Nu River. The steep slope and rapid current of high mountains have brought great difficulties to the people’s life growing on the riverside. However, industrious, brave and creative people of all ethnic groups do not succumb to sinister natural conditions. Instead, they try to adapt to local conditions, take local materials, conquer rivers and lakes, and set up numerous innumerable bridges to strengthen Nationalities and foreign contacts and exchanges. There are two kinds of smooth slip and Ling slip: smooth slippery as a contempt
