三元里之役英军被歼人数考 1841年5月30日,三元里义勇向占据城北四方炮台的英军发起进攻,旋诱敌深入,分割包围,英军死伤多人,狼狈逃回四方炮台。《平海心筹》、《道光洋艘征抚记》等私家著作均谓是役毙敌二百余,解放后不少著述皆从此说。而近十年来的一些中国近代史专著在叙及此役时则对此显然持保留态度。实际上,私家记述确有失实的可能,对照档案史料加以鉴别,诚属必要。
