武昌鱼肉质细嫩,味道鲜美,且具有抗病力强,成活率高、草食性、放养周期较短与容易捕捞等优点,是一种优良的淡水鱼。我省是武昌鱼的发源地,养殖较普遍。但是各地养殖的武昌鱼,一般多作为搭配鱼放养,由于忽视了某些技术环节,加之其本身耗氧率较高,容易“浮头”致死,因而往往得不到预期效果。群众反映“武昌鱼好吃不好养”,就是这个道理。为了提高武昌鱼的养殖效果,现根据我们的实践体会并参考有关资料,谈谈武昌鱼养殖生产中几个应注意的技术要点。 一、繁殖时应注意提高鱼卵出苗率 5月中旬至6月中旬是武昌鱼进行人工催产的最适季节,可是此时水霉菌极易滋生,往往会导致鱼卵大批死亡。为了防治水霉菌的侵害,孵化时应把沾满鱼卵的棕榈皮鱼巢放入3%的食盐水中浸泡1—2分钟。
