马钢是中国特大型钢铁联合企业之一,是安徽省最大的工业企业。1993年9月,改制重组分立为马钢（集团）控股有限公司和马鞍山钢铁股份有限公司。目前,已形成年产500万吨生铁、500万吨钢、480万吨材的生产能力,拥有我国最先进的热轧大H型钢生产线和最大的车轮轮箍专业生产厂,建成了车轮、轮箍、高速线材、H型钢、棒材等15条国际标准生产线,形成了“线轮板型”产品结构,按国际标准组织生产的钢材产品达产品总量的80％,有38个产品荣获国家、省优质产品称号,产品出口到26个国家和地区。
