洗牌在即的福州报业点数福州当地纸媒体产物而又活跃于书报摊的报纸大概有8家:分别是《海峡都市报》、《福州晚报》、《海峡周报》、《福建经济快报》、《东南快报》、《海峡摄影时报》、《海峡消费报》和《海峡体育报》。在短短的一年多时间内,这座拥有170多万市区人口、经济尚不发达的城市,已经在市面上出现了近10种定位比较类似的都市类市民报。面对福州报业这种竞争白热化的生存环境,各家纸媒体纷纷以改版、扩版的方式来应对,同时也在整合和创新,谋求自我创业。整个报业市场越来越草重商业竞争模式,主要体现在产品不断地自我完善,互相谋求超越,还有的体现在对读者的细分上,如细化为学生受众和成年人受众。当然,在总体上,竞争最激烈的市场还是在大众市民报。在报纸经营上,发行渠道越来越受到重视,因此相互之间的竞争也非常激烈。原来报纸的发行是大量地通过邮局,现在基本上都是自办发行,这使得福建的报业在争夺渠道、抢夺零售市场上,手法越来越商业化,报纸也越来越像个商品。近两年来,福州报业的人才流动空前巨大,而且不只是福州一个地方,它是从福州引发带动了闽南地区,比如泉州、厦门,这说明报业的核心竞争力事实上是人才的竞争。目前,已经有民间投资的报纸,接下来可能还会有更多社会投资、甚至海外资金的介入。对此,《海峡都市报》广告部主任林华认为,这是最核心的变化趋势,其他的是细枝末节的东西。只要是投资方的结构有变化,就会带动报业体制与机制的变化。由此引发的竞争会更加激烈,这个市场洗牌会非常残酷,有可能几千万的投资转瞬间就会灰飞湮灭。面时这样的激烈竞争,身处“水深火热”中的福州纸媒体又是如何应对的呢?从以下两篇文章,你可能会有所了解。
