四川大足石刻是中国古代造像中以宗教文化为题材的石窟艺术的一个突出的部类,表现出强烈的世俗性。宗教图像的世俗性以其神圣性为前提,但宗教图像这种神圣性的品格又离不开生活大地和时代精神的滋养。世俗性是宋代宗教图像的一个重要特质。宋代独特的社会背景使得佛教图像也逐渐走向世俗化和人间现实化。大足宝顶山《父母恩重经变相》正是宋代宗教图像世俗化的结晶。
Dazu Rock Carvings in Sichuan Province is a prominent category of grotto art with the theme of religious culture in ancient Chinese statues, showing strong secularity. The secular nature of religious images is premised on their sacredness, but the sacred character of religious images can not be separated from the earth of life and the nourishment of the spirit of the times. Secularization is an important characteristic of the religious images in Song Dynasty. The unique social background of Song Dynasty made Buddhism image gradually go to secularization and human reality. Dazu Bao Dingshan “parental grace after the change of phase” is the secular crystallization of religious images in Song Dynasty.
