众所周知,生产自动化是大势所趋。要充分发挥自动化生产的优点,首先必须解决好一系列有关问题,断屑或切屑控制就是其中的一个很重要的问题。在普通机床上切削时,还允许产生不太长的螺旋状卷屑,但对数控车床和自动线来说,这种情况是不允许的。因为它们的工作空间通常较小,长切屑会防碍加工过程的正常进行。因此对切屑形状须进行很好的控制。例如,给刀具以附加的超声波振动,就是在实践中采用的一种断屑方法。
As we all know, production automation is the trend of the times. To give full play to the advantages of automated production, we must first solve a series of related problems. Because of their generally small workspace, long chips prevent the process from proceeding normally. Therefore, the chip shape must be well controlled. For example, adding additional ultrasonic vibration to the tool is a method of chip breaking used in practice.
