The emotion of cultivating students' patriotism should start from the point of love hometown. The purposeful supplement of native history is an indispensable part of history teaching. It is an important way to strengthen patriotic education. As one of the first 24 historical and cultural cities promulgated by the State Council, we in Yangzhou, besides its long history, brilliant culture and beautiful scenery, have a glorious revolutionary tradition. Take the history of modern Yangzhou revolutionary struggle, for example, it has many brilliant chapters.
