中国越剧团于今年6月19日离开北京,直至9月18日才返抵首都,其中在德国是从6月30日到7月30日,经柏林、科特布斯、来比锡、阿尔登堡、卡尔·马克思城和魏玛等地共一个月;7月31日起到达苏联边境明斯克,然后到莫斯科、列宁格勒、斯维德洛夫斯克、新西伯利亚等五个城市,共一个半月,至9月15日始回到中苏边境敖德堡。这次的长途旅行,一面是把我国的古典艺术介绍给民主德国和苏联人民,另一面是参观兄弟国家各项建设的成就。这次访问演出,对整个团来说,收穫是很大的,这对越剧的提高和改进,必定有很大的帮助。成功的演出,深厚的友情在民主德国和苏联,中国越剧团曾在十个城市演出过,每次在演出之前,剧票都已全部卖光。必须承认,越剧团在国外演出,是有不少困难的。首先是道具(两
