湖北省监利县是全国重要的商品粮和商品鱼基地县之一,是一个农业大县,粮食产量曾连续9年居全省之首,水稻总产位居全国第一。但正因为产粮食多,也使我县背上了“产粮大县、财政穷县”的包袱。产粮大县如何开辟和涵养财源,提高县级经济发展水平?根据十四大精神和监利的实际,我们确立了“由一个大县变为三个大县”的思路,即把产粮大县变为优质粮大县、多种经营大县和农副产品加工业大县。
Jianli County, Hubei Province, is one of the important commodity grain and commodity fish base counties in the country. It is an agricultural county with grain output ranking first in the whole province for 9 years in a row. The total output of rice ranks first in the country. However, because of the large amount of grain produced, the county has also brought back the burden of “large grain-producing counties and poor financial villages”.
