函数H_o的建立及测定:酸度函数H_o是酸度的一种定量表示,是由Hammett等利用一类不带电的碱指色剂的电离平衡推导出来的,其定义可用下列方程表示: H_o=pK_(BH~+)-log C_(BH~+)/C_B (1)C_(BH~+)/C_B是指色剂的两种不同色样的浓度比,K_(BH~+)是指色剂的共轭酸BH~+的热力学电离平衡常数。浓度是克分子每升溶液,参考态是理想稀释水溶液。上述定义又可表示为,
