Pure Lines of Maize valuable in agricultural production could be bred by anther culture. It has been proved by our work that the pure lines obtained by such means are the same as those by conventional inbreeding method. However, the time for breeding is remarkably shortened. So a new and effective way is shown for maize breeding.
