八十一岁的老诗人臧克家至今没有放下他手中的笔。年纪大了,不能直接投身到社会生活中去,他就间接地从报刊、广播、电视以及从亲朋口中了解各条战线上的新闻,收集各方面的信息。每天不管多忙,早晚的新闻广播和电视,必定按时收听收看。他还自费订了十几份报纸杂志。去年年底,诗人在电视中看到老山前线的战斗情景,他极为感动。正巧北京朗诵艺术团的殷之光同志要去老山前线慰问,特来约请臧老给前线战士们写首诗。诗人不顾自己大病初愈体力衰弱,立即同意。整整三天,他被火一般的诗情燃烧着,反复吟哦,反复修改,写成了90多行的《生命试卷的鉴定》。诗篇完成后,他没有按照惯例请助手誊写,而
