5月9日,第43届世界广告大会在北京开幕。国家工商总局局长张茅出席大会开幕式并致辞。总局领导刘玉亭、马正其、甘霖、何昕、刘俊臣出席开幕式。张茅强调,要共同把握机遇,深化交流合作,提高中国广告业集约化、专业化、国际化水平和整体竞争实力,为世界经济文化发展作出新贡献。张茅说,在当前世界经济格局深度调整、经济复苏进程缓慢的形势下,加强世界各国和地区之间的广告交流合作,对于促进经济文化全球化发展,提升文化软实力,实现广告业产业转型,具有十分重要的意义。广告业的发展水平已经成为衡量一个国家或地区市场经济发展程度、科技进步水平、综合经济实力的重要标志。
