内源性和外源性的糖皮质激素通过下丘脑(?)垂体轴的作用,使肾上腺分泌可的松减少。吸入皮质类固醇有可能引起包括下丘脑-垂体-肾上腺(HPA)轴功能降低在内的全身影响,通过测定血浆可的松和24小时尿游离可的松,可确定基础可的松水平,1次量甲吡丙酮试验可预测HPA 轴的反应能力,合成促皮质素(Tetracosactrin)试验可观测肾上腺皮质对ACTH 的反应.本文旨在比较这4种试验在检测吸入类固醇对HPA 轴影响中的敏感性。

The purpose of this paper is to compare the sensitivity of these four tests in detecting the effects of inhaled steroids on the HPA axis .
