2004年9月15日,自治区出版工作专题会议在乌鲁木齐人民剧场举行,各地州市新闻出版局(版权局)负责人及乌鲁木齐地区的出版社、报社、期刊社、印刷企业、新华书店的负责人、中层干部和专业人员共900多人参加了会议。像这样规模的出版工作专题会议,在自治区还是第一次举行,会议的重要性不言而喻。自治区党委、人民政府对这次出版工作专题会议十分重视。自治区党委副书记努尔·白克力、自治区副主席库热西·买合苏提及自治区党委副秘书长景海燕、自治区党委宣传部副部长胡赛音·瓦里恰出席会议。自治区新闻出版局党组书记刘长明传达了全国出版工作专题会议精神,自治区新闻出版局局长米吉提·卡德尔主持会议。最后,努尔·白克力副书记发表了重要讲话。
On September 15, 2004, the Autonomous Region Publishing Work Conference was held in the People’s Theater in Urumqi. The chiefs of the State Press and Publication Bureau (Copyright Office) and Urumqi Publishing House, the newspaper office, the periodicals and printing companies, the head of Xinhua Bookstore More than 900 middle-level cadres and professionals attended the meeting. It is self-evident that the conference on the scale of publishing work is held for the first time in the autonomous region. The party committee and people’s government of the autonomous region attach great importance to the special conference on publishing work. Nur Baike, deputy secretary of the party committee of the autonomous region, Kuchay Boss, vice chairman of the autonomous region, Jing Haiyan, deputy secretary general of the Party Committee of the autonomous region, and Hu Saiyin Varica, deputy director of the propaganda department of the party committee of the autonomous region attended the meeting. Liu Changming, secretary of the party group of the Press and Publication Bureau of the autonomous region, conveyed the spirit of the special conference on national publication work. Mici Tidar Kadeer, director of the Autonomous Region Press and Publication Bureau, presided over the meeting. Finally, Deputy Secretary Nur Bai Keli delivered an important speech.
