我从担任电视剧的导演以来,接手最多的当属单本剧,也就是短电视剧。与我1996年拍摄的二十三集电视连续剧《王洛宾和他的恋人们》相比,我直言不讳地说,还是短电视剧的创作难度大。大家也许都知道人们常举的一个例子:某会议的主持人对参加会议的与会者提出了一个很简单的要求,那就是每一个发言的人手里握住一块冰,待到那块冰溶化的时候,他的发言就必须终止。主持者的目的很简单,他是在限制与会者发言的长度。这使我联想到我们的电视剧。目前的电视剧的标准长度是47—48分钟之间,这对于播出单位来说是出于对节目时间规范化的考虑,但是对于制作者来说就是一种时间上的限制。
