2009年7月23-24日,国际会计师联合会(IFAC)在伦敦召开20国集团(G20)的会计行业峰会,探讨会计行业如何更好地为加强全球金融体系服务,20国集团中17个国家的近40家会计职业组织和机构的代表出席了峰会。中注协向会议提交了书面意见。会后,IFAC汇总各方意见,形成了向20国集团9月匹兹堡峰会提交的建议书,主旨是积极推动国际准则在全球范围内的有效实施,大力倡导实现会计行业和全球经济的可持续发展,还强调了会计行业在有效应对金融危机中的积极作用。现将IFAC建议书全文编译如下,供参考。
On July 23-24, 2009, the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) convened the G20 Summit of Accounting Industries in London to discuss how the accounting profession can better serve the global financial system, 17 of the G-20 Nearly 40 national accounting professional organizations and agencies’ representatives attended the summit. AICPA submitted written comments to the meeting. After the conference, IFAC summarized the opinions of all parties and formed a proposal submitted to the September summit of the G-20 in Pittsburgh. Its main thrust is to actively promote the effective implementation of international norms in the global scope and vigorously promote the sustainable development of the accounting profession and the global economy , But also emphasized the positive role of the accounting profession in effectively coping with the financial crisis.
