For metamorphic complexes that are completely outcrops of low-intermediate metamorphism and have multi-stage deformation, there are many difficulties encountered in the tectonic analysis due to their complex deformations and their unobstructed surface. For example, the Huoqiu Group of iron-bearing rock series in Anhui Province has not made any affirmative tectonic interpretation since its census and exploration. Difficulties are: (1) it is difficult to determine the occurrence and change of each lithologic layer in the borehole; and (2) it is difficult to find a continuous and stable simple marker layer.
