以梅纽因为首的第一美国小提琴协会1987年6月在马里兰大学开会期间,由美国、加拿大的音乐爱好者和职业乐师共150人组成乐队。经梅纽因倡议,采用雅马哈大型电子风琴及HX—1电子音响合成器,使音乐会大为增色。
The First American Violin Association headed by Menin led a band of 150 music lovers and professional musicians from the United States and Canada during a meeting at the University of Maryland in June 1987. The Menin initiative, the use of Yamaha large electronic organ and HX-1 electronic sound synthesizer, the concert greatly enhanced.
