吴兆林,花友亲切地称呼他老吴,地道的扬州人,家住六圩。原来家中有个大院子,少说有300平米。老伴喜欢种点瓜果蔬菜,老吴则喜欢莳花弄草,即使在上个世纪90年代,农村人拿有限的土地养花也是不多见的。传统的有牡丹、芍药,另有月季、海棠、君子兰等等,普通的有宿根虞美人、蜀葵、大丽花,草花有太阳花、炮仗花、指甲花……
