江苏省扬州市地处江淮下游,属土栖白蚁边缘地区,白蚁危害堤坝现象时有发生。该市自1983年开展堤坝白蚁防治工作以来,在江苏省水利厅的统一部署和技术指导下,堤坝白蚁防治工作成绩斐然。全市530多km流域性堤防和65座中小型水库,查出有过蚁害的堤长达88.3km,水库达28座。累计灭杀蚁巢451巢,其中人工破巢277巢,捉获
