It is well known that determining the mechanical properties of rock is one of the indispensable contents of research on rock mechanics problems such as mine pressure and rock fragmentation. To date, the mechanical properties of rock are measured by regular specimens. For example, in a unidirectional compression test, the rock must be cut into regular prismatic or cylindrical specimens by rigorous machining and then the mechanical properties such as compressive strength, modulus of elasticity and Poisson’s ratio of these regular specimens .
