The so-called “viral hemorrhagic fever” refers to several viral diseases with similar clinical and ecological characteristics, namely, natural foci of diseases characterized by fever with hemorrhage and shock as clinical features. In recent years, the United States has amended the classification and nomenclature of the Soviet Union. According to the different routes of transmission, the United States has classified these diseases into four broad categories (see the table on the right): (7), (8) and (9) Belongs to the Arenovirus group.
