Bestatin是从链霉菌发酵滤液中发现的一种毒性低的小分子量免疫调节剂。一般而言,它并不抑制培养的哺乳动物细胞的生长。Bestatin口服吸收良好,80%以上由尿中排泄。本文报道bestatin增强免疫反应以及抑制小鼠肿瘤生长的作用。增强小鼠免疫反应的作用已报道bestatin在广泛的剂量范围内(0.05~5mg/kg)可增强对羊红细胞(SRBC)或噁唑烷酮的迟发型超敏反应(DTH)。高剂量50mg/kg,可增加对羊红细胞产生抗体的脾细胞数。Bestatin亦能阻止由于环磷酰胺或移植肿瘤细胞引起的DTH减弱。
Bestatin is a low toxicity, low molecular weight immunomodulator found in the fermentation broth of Streptomyces. In general, it does not inhibit the growth of cultured mammalian cells. Bestatin orally absorbed well, more than 80% excreted by the urine. This article reports the effect of bestatin on enhancing immune responses and inhibiting tumor growth in mice. Enhances the Immune Responses in Mice It has been reported that bestatin enhances delayed hypersensitivity (DTH) to sheep erythrocytes (SRBC) or oxazolidinones over a wide range of doses (0.05-5 mg / kg). High doses of 50mg / kg, can increase the number of spleen cells producing antibodies to sheep red blood cells. Bestatin also prevents DTH reduction due to cyclophosphamide or transplanted tumor cells.
