党的十八大提出要“努力办好人民满意的教育”。2013年11月22日,省委常委、襄阳市委书记范锐平在教育系统调研时,提出办人民满意的教育就是要“办学生、家长、社会都满意的教育”。加强教育系统行风建设,事关党和政府的形象,事关教育改革与发展的全局,是办好人满意教育的必然要求。多年来,襄阳市教育局按照“管行业必须管行风”的要求,坚持教育改革发展和行风建设两手抓,坚定不移地走“公平、均衡、优质”之路,努力办好让人民群众满意的教育。
