5月5日上午,从福州马尾运水返回马祖外海的“金航二号”在福澳港码头靠泊输水。台湾马祖各界举行了盛大的运水首航典礼。这来自马尾的第一船水,将作为马祖南竿岛6000多人口的民生用水。5月5日上午11时左右,“金航二号”在热闹的鞭炮声中,在台湾马祖乡亲的热切期盼中,完成了靠泊作业及相关的手续。马祖自来水厂的工人随即进行管线边接作业,他们很快就将船上的输水管连接到通往蓄水池的水管。当“亲情水”流进码头的输水管时,在场的马祖乡亲报以热烈的掌声和喝彩
