本文通过对小鼠研究,证明瘦素对骨重建的调节作用,瘦素作为一种白色脂肪组织分泌的信号,通过不同组织表达的多种形式的瘦素受体,向中枢和外周多个位点传递信号,与下丘脑—垂体—靶腺轴之间组成了多个双向闭合环路,以开通代谢闸门的方式打开与调节机体许多生理功能和代谢通路,瘦素在体内是骨形成的强有力的抑制剂,其作用可能是通过中枢传递的,瘦素对骨重建的调节作用也可能与成骨细胞OPGmRNA表达上调,致破骨细胞的分化间接受抑制有关,瘦素并不直接作用于成骨细胞。瘦素可以通过成骨细胞调节骨重建,但不直接影响成骨细胞的数量。野生型小鼠脑室内注入瘦素后,在未影响瘦素血浆浓度的前提下,可导致骨量丢失。

After intracerebroventricular injection of leptin in wild-type mice, bone loss can be caused without affecting the plasma concentration of leptin.
