我要写的这条街,名叫江苏路。我对它其实并不熟悉,在它附近仅仅居住了数年。只是当某一天,我突然发现它的街面房子拆除一空,露出身后楼房白森森的山墙,它的街景一下子跃出在眼前。~①我对它不熟悉,还因为我很少去那里。我只是有时候走过它与愚园路相交的十字路口。因为从我居住的弄堂后头,可穿入它的某一条弄堂,这样大约可节省一站汽车路。上海的弄堂在马路后面就像一张网,阡陌纵横,有许多近道可抄。我穿过弄堂,走过路口,它的气息便漫了过来。这是一种很缠绵的气息,它洇染了我的记忆。~②
I want to write this street, named Jiangsu Road. I’m actually unfamiliar with it, living in the neighborhood for only a few years.
