The tests of two 214CrlMo steel panels with a weld running nearly 5 × 104h with hydrogenation reactor were carried out to understand the aging effect of 214Cr1Mo steel on the actual operating conditions of the hydrogenation reactor. Tensile test results show that the tensile properties of the base metal and the weld metal are not deteriorated; the test results of the small container blasting test of the base material with artificial crack defects show that the comprehensive mechanical properties of the test plate base material are good and there is still sufficient toughness reserve ; Impact test of base metal and weld metal in the test plate shows that the base metal still has higher toughness and the weld metal is obviously embrittled; the impact test results of the weld metal with dehydrogenation and de-embrittlement treatment reveal the Weld metal embrittlement is caused by tempering embrittlement, scanning electron microscopy also proved this point
