The development of ideological and political education can not be separated from the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation. The excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation is the source of living water for ideological and political education. This essay elaborates the relationship between ideological and political education and Chinese traditional culture as well as the beneficial revelation provided by Chinese traditional culture to the ideological and political education.
