用普通车床加工内锥孔的常规方法是,调整小拖板,使其与主轴轴线成一α夹角(工件内锥角),然后用小拖板手动进给,车出内锥。因小拖板只能手动进退,加工批量大时存在着生产效率低,表面粗糙度质量不隐定等问题。此时可采用下述方法。小拖板不动。松开床头箱与床身结合面的联接螺栓,调整床头箱使主轴轴线与导轨成一α角,如画1(a)所示。固定后用大拖板机动进给,即可车出内锥。用调床头箱代替调小拖板,刀具和工件的成形运动不变,而用大拖板的机动进给代替小拖板的手动,既可提高生产率,又能保证对工件内锥表面粗糙度要求,适用于成批生产。调整时注意以下两点 (1)床头箱调整后,与床身结合面的联接螺栓孔
