作为澳门格兰披治大赛车最重头的赛事, F3无疑是最受关注的。很多现役F1车手都经受过澳门东望洋赛道严峻的考验,这也为他们在今后走上更辉煌的赛车之路奠定基础。本届的F3大赛一如往年,世界各地优秀的年轻车手纷至沓来,争夺这项车坛久负盛名的锦标。参赛车手包括1983年首届澳门F3胜利者兼世界冠军塞纳的侄子伯诺·塞纳,他是首次参加澳门F3锦标赛。但对于他来说澳门东望洋赛道并不陌生。去年他曾在这里获得雷诺方程式的亚军。除此以外,还有叱咤英国、日本等锦标赛中的车队及车手参与。赛车方面,本届并非所有赛车都是采用Dallara的车架,曾在今届英国锦标赛获胜的Promatecme车队
F3 is undoubtedly the most watched as the most important event of the Macau Grand Prix.
