二、鑄鉄曲軸的設計曲軸設計的工藝性影响曲軸性能極大,尤其对耐疲强度更有其重要意义。茲將設計中的幾个主要問題分別討論於下,以供设计时的参考(下面所介紹的都是根据孕育鑄铁亦卽GM型密烘鑄铁的試驗結果,但其他鑄铁的情况也相類似)。 (1)曲轴的表面精度如众所週知,表面精度对耐疲强度的影响甚大。为了测定光洁度在孕育鑄铁曲軸上的影响,J.F.Chambers曾做了一个比較試驗,以比較磨光的和表面非常毛糙的(用成形車刀加工)耐疲强度(孕育鑄铁的机械性能:抗强度38.5公斤/平方公厘,彈性模数15500公斤/平方公厘),所得結果如[表八]所示。
