去年11月22日,本刊顾问胡裕树先生不幸因病与世长辞,编辑部全体同仁顿时陷入悲哀之中。胡先生生于1918年,安徽绩溪人。是复旦大学教授,著名的语言学家。曾担任复旦大学中文系主任,《辞海》编委兼语言文字分科主编,《中国大百科全书》语言文字卷编委兼汉语语法修辞分科主编,中国语言学会常务理事。他对中国语言学的发展作出了重大的贡献。本刊创刊以来,胡先生给予了热情支持;他的逝世,使本刊失去了一位良师,在此,我们表示沉痛的哀悼。张斌教授是胡裕树先生的生前执友,此文是张先生撰写的特稿,从中不难发现,胡先生不仅学识令人敬服,人品也堪称楷模。
On November 22 last year, our magazine’s adviser, Mr. Hu Yu Shu, was unlucky enough to die because of illness and death. All colleagues in the editorial department suddenly fell into sorrow. Mr. Hu was born in 1918, Anhui Jixi people. Is a professor at Fudan University, a famous linguist. Former director of Chinese Department of Fudan University, “Cihai” editorial board and language division chief editor, “Encyclopedia of China” language and language editor and editor of the Chinese grammar rhetoric division, executive director of the Chinese Language Institute. He made a significant contribution to the development of Chinese linguistics. Since the founding of this journal, Mr. Hu has given his enthusiastic support; his death has deprived us of a good teacher. Here, we express our deep condolences. Professor Zhang Bin was a lifetime friend of Mr. Hu Yushu. This article is a feature written by Mr. Zhang. It is not difficult to find out that Mr. Hu not only learned to be admirable, but his character was also exemplary.
