“鸽痘”是指“鸽白喉”,是一种很危险的“病毒”,当鸽子被集中关在鸽笼中时,该病毒易于逐羽传染。只有接种过白喉疫苗、或近期得过此病的鸽子才能免受传染。可值得提醒的是,毛滴虫症和因肠道发酵作用而引起“瘟疫”也很容易被混淆成“鸽痘”,可得对症下药,千万别搞浑!
Pigeon pox is a very dangerous “virus” that refers to the “pigeon’s diphtheria,” a virus that is susceptible to bird flu when it is concentrated in pigeon cages.
