什么是党员的身份?它是党员无形而独特的标识,是党的纲领、意志、宗旨等在每名党员思想上行为上的集中体现。它从建党初期就逐步形成,并随着时代进步不断丰富发展。党员的身份根本上反映的是党员的先锋模范作用,与党的整体形象和前途命运紧密相关。党的十八大报告深刻指出:“新形势下,党面临的执政考验、改革开放考验、市场经济考验、外部环境考验是长期的、复杂的、严峻的,精神懈怠危险、能力不足危险、脱离群众危险、消极腐败危险更加尖锐地摆在全党面前。”每名党员都要自觉增强紧迫感和责任感,牢记党员本色,恪尽兴党之责,确保党员身份永不淡忘。
