2008年5月12日爆发的中国汶川大地震,与其说是个自然事件,不如说是个历史事件,它使许许多多人的命运,以及许许多多事态的进程走向,随着那一声巨响扭曲、断裂、错位、甚至毁灭。摄影在这次历史事件中最基本的使命依然是提供第一手的影像文本,满足当下民众知情的需要,并为后世留传有价值的史料——一如既往的“纪录”。但在此基本功能之上,摄影的“表达”性越来越被大众所需要,纯粹纪录式的照片已难得人心。
The Wenchuan Earthquake that struck China on May 12, 2008, is not so much a natural event as it is a historical event that has led to the fate of so many people and the many course of things that have taken place. As the loud noise distorts , Broken, dislocation, and even destroyed. The basic mission of photography in this historical event is still to provide first-hand imagery to meet the current needs of the public and to retain valuable historical materials for future generations - as always, “records.” However, above this basic function, photography is more and more required by the public for its “expressiveness”, and the purely recorded photos are rare.
