空前重视2005年10月28日,国务院发布了《关于大力发展职业教育的决定》,它充分体现了党中央国务院对职业教育工作的高度重视。其中明确——中等职业教育招生规模将达800万人到2010年,中等职业教育招生规模达到800万人,与普通高中招生规模大体相当;高等职业教育招生规模占高等教育招生规模的一半以上。“十一五”期间,为社会输送2500多万名中等职业学校毕业生,1100多万名高等职业院校毕业生。各种形式的职业培训进一步发展,每年培训城乡劳动者上亿人次,使我国劳动者的素质得到明显提高。职业教育办学条件普遍改善,师资队伍建设进一步加强,质量效益明显提高。
Unprecedented attention October 28, 2005, the State Council promulgated the “Decision on Vigorously Developing Vocational Education,” which fully demonstrates the Party Central Committee and State Council’s emphasis on vocational education. Specifically, the enrollment size of secondary vocational education will reach 8 million. By 2010, the enrollment size of secondary vocational education will reach 8 million, roughly equal to the enrollment size of ordinary senior high schools. The enrollment of higher vocational education accounts for more than half of the enrollment of higher education. During the “Eleventh Five-year” period, more than 25 million secondary vocational school graduates and 11 million higher vocational college graduates were delivered to the community. Various forms of vocational training have been further developed. Hundreds of millions of workers have been trained annually in urban and rural areas so that the quality of workers in our country can be significantly improved. Conditions for running a vocational education have generally improved, faculty construction has been further strengthened, and quality and benefits have been significantly improved.
