1995年9月,在江苏省徐州市,从狮子山西汉楚王陵墓中发掘出六坛封装完好的兰陵美酒。酒被放置在庖厨的陶质球形坛内,泥封上印有“兰陵丞印”戳记,完整无缺,清晰可辨。六坛兰陵美酒由于深埋地下,与外部空气隔绝,避免了风化侵蚀,又由于包装坛质地细密,坚硬厚实,所以,虽然时过2148年,坛中美酒损失不多,搬运时仍有浓香溢出……此酒为特级文物,被江苏省博物馆收藏。
