Kashin-Beck disease scientific investigation for the purpose of “controlling the condition of Kashin-Beck disease in Yongshou County and promoting the progress of scientific research” has been conducted for 15 months from September 1979 to January 1981. In order to expedite the inspection process, the inspection team held a summary meeting of the Yongshou Kashin-Beck disease scientific inspection phase in Xi’an in January 1981 and implemented the "
