作者对29例确诊为类风湿性关节炎女性患者(41～69岁)的口部症状和吞咽障碍进行了研究。病程平均为15±1.5年,吞咽功能障碍的程度按美国风湿协会规定的标准分级。Ⅰ级4例,Ⅱ级14例,Ⅲ级11例。另以30名40～69岁健康女性为对照,两组年龄、身高、体重、吸烟或成烟者人数等相近,方法为就口干症、干眼症、食管和腮腺症状进行问卷调查的同时,还进行物理检查、刺激唾液分泌量测定、下唇唾液腺活检、食管测压、反复干咽试验等,所获数据进行统计学分析。结果发现类风湿关节炎患者83%有食管症状和口干症,对照组仅占20%(P<0.001)。常见的食管症状为
